With its wild savannah, Congo rainforests, volcanic craters, and snow-capped mountains, this 8-Day primate and Savannah Wildlife Uganda vacation offer the continent’s widest variety of animal experiences. This might be a different country. Discover the crater lakes around Kibale Forest, where chimpanzee packs forage in the wild, and enigmatic blue lakes twinkle amid dense woodlands.
The Queen Elizabeth National Park plains, a wild savannah where lions turn into leopards and lounge in trees, are hidden by the Mountains of the Moon. The largest crocodiles in Africa laze in the sun, challenging you to approach them while elephants approach to drink in the setting light. Boat trips on the Kazinga Channel are filled with brilliant bird life.
In contrast to the lush, green surroundings, banana plantations stand out in bright yellow, and red dust roads connect the plantations to friendly villages and vibrant markets. Ultimately, encounter a mountain gorilla after traversing into the woods from the Ice Age.
