7 Days to Discover Rwanda

Day 1: Pick up and Travel to volcanoes national park
Get up early, have breakfast, and then drive to the national park of the volcanoes. You will eat lunch on the way and then drive to the park; the trip is fantastic and features lovely scenery that depicts the country's nature. Dinner and overnight at Da Vinci gorilla lodge, and Le Bambou gorilla lodge options.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking
Get up early and drive to the park headquarters for the briefing on the gorilla trekking. Here, you'll learn more about what to do and what not to do when you're in the woods with mountain gorillas. In order to find the big apes, the ranger guide will bring you through the bamboo jungle. Before you find them, trekking may require two to five hours. Once you are face-to-face with the gorillas, one hour is sufficient to watch their habits, snap photos, and record films for your souvenir of gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. After that, head back to the office to pick up your trekking credentials before driving back to the resort for some downtime, if you forgot to pack lunch, you will go straight to have lunch. Day 3: Transfer to Akagera National Park
After eating breakfast, depart from the hotel and travel to Akagera National Park. Before arriving at the park, you will eat lunch along the way. Take a game drive in the afternoon to see the park's wildlife, which includes, among other things, elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, giraffes, lions, leopards, and warthogs. Visit the Akagera game lodge or the Magashi safari lodge to check in for the night and dinner.
Day 4: Tour the Akagera National Park by boat and wildlife
Early morning game drives to observe the early risers and grazers, such as giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, and others, as well as the lions and leopards returning to their home after a night of hunting prey. The only savannah park in Rwanda that is home to the largest five animals in Africa is where the game drive activity can go for up to three hours (lions, elephants, leopards, buffalos, and rhinos). After lunch, head back to the lodge to unwind.
You will be taken on a boat tour of Lake Ihema, the largest lake in the park, later in the day. One of the best things to do at Akagera National Park is taking a boat cruise, where you can observe most of the reptiles and aquatic creatures, as well as a number of different bird species. You will then go back to the lodge to rest. Dinner and a night's stay at the Akagera game lodge or the Magashi safari lodge
Day 5: Getting to Nyungwe Forest National Park
After breakfast, check out of the hotel, and transportation to the Nyungwe Forest National Park, you will first stop in Kigali City for lunch before continuing on to the park. there is a lot to see in the countryside including beautiful rocks, lakes, hills, and many more. reaching in the evening for dinner and overnight at Nyungwe forest lodge.
Day 6: Chimp tracking and a canopy tour
Get a head start on breakfast and head to Nyungwe Forest National Park, Rwanda's oldest forest and home to the only habituated chimpanzees that are accessible to tourists.
Depending on how close together the chimpanzee groups are, a chimpanzee tracking experience can last between two and four hours. You will only get an hour with them, so take advantage of it to observe their antics and capture them on camera. You will encounter other primate species while tracking in this forest. After lunch, in the late afternoon, you'll go on a canopy walk to discover the forest's splendor and its flora and botanical peculiarities. Dinner and overnight stay at Nyungwe forest lodge.
Day 7: Departure via Lake Kivu
On the final day of your seven-day Rwanda safari, you will have breakfast at your convenience, check out of the lodge, and then travel back to Kigali via Lake Kivu, where you may enjoy a leisurely lunch and unwind by the lake. Before returning to the city to catch the aircraft or conclude your Rwanda safari tour, see the exciting lakeside sights, including as the islands, birds, and beach the tour concludes.
